Hi ~this is a video from Guozhi electronics,
today we are gonna talk about the pin definitions of commonly used USB connectors.
First let’s take a look at TYPE A,It can be divided into 2.0 and 3.0. This is the pins number and pin definition of 2.0. The theoretical rate of 2.0 is 480Mbps.
This is the usb connector of 3.0.
The plastic inside the 3.0 connector is generally blue.
It has four more dedicated data signal lines than 2.0, and the theoretical rate of 3.0 is 5Gbps.
The pins number and pin definition of 3.0 is shown in this figure.
Next we look at the ‘TYPE B’, its pin number and pin definition as shown in the figure
Then we look at the Micro usb, which is our common Android phone interface,It has 5 pins.
Its pin number and pin definition is shown in the figure.
This is MINI USB, You can see that it is slightly larger than the Micro USB just now, and it is also the USB connector we used more before. Its pin number is shown in this picture.
It has the same pin definition as Micro usb
Finally, I will introduce our most commonly used ‘TYPE C USB connector. It has 24 pins, the pin number and pin definition is shown in this picture
It is irrelevant and can be inserted at will. It can be seen that its signal definition is also symmetrical.
That’s it for today’s sharing, thank you for watching~ For more sharing of knowledge about electronic components, you can subscribe to our channel, bye~
